We wisited terrace of The lepper king after we visited Angkor wat and bayon temple from 3.15 pm-3.59 we visited This gallery.
In khmer language this gallery was known as preah learn sdech kunlung this gallery also build by king jayavarman VII order
Until know there are dispute why this gallery is known as Lepper King some historian says in Angkor Kingdom era there is a king who got leprosy but they still disagree who is the king no inscription tells the complete story
Terrace of lepper King located in the northwest from Angkor Thom this gallery is near with Terrace of Elephant
Compared with terrace of Elephant carvings in here is in better condition

Cambodia Trip : Banteay Kdei Monastery Nov,15,2013

We explored banteay kedei monastery for about 1 hour began from 2.28-3.28 pm this temple also built by king jayavarman VII around end of 12 AD the same king who build Bayon  and other temples in Angkor and outside Angkor like Beng Maelea and Banteay Chmar

Same like other buiding were being built during king jayavarman VII era this temple also built from sandstone

When we see banteay kdei we will notice many similiarity between Banteay Kdei and ta prom and preah khan

In ta prom we see many fragments represent prajnaparamitha,in preah khan we see lokeshvara and for Banteay kdei we see Budha

In Banteay kdei visitors will see apsara dancers carvings in the wall

the best time to visit Banteay Kdei is at morning and late afternoon

Cambodia Trip : Lolei Temple Nov,17,2013

We arrived at Lolei Temple on November 17,2013 at 9 am.lolei is one of rulous group temple in Siam Reap like Bakong and Preah Ko.

Lolei is the northernmost from rulous group temple and the last to be built as part of hariharalaya city king Yashovarman I built this temple

When I walked down to the temple I saw 4 temple made from red brick this 4 temples represent King Grandfather,Grandmother,Father and his mother

Lolei like other rulous temples are Hindu Temple

These temples were built at 893 AD and make them older than Angkor wat

Rulous group temples are located near Angkor area

For visitors who have visited Angkor they can go here

When I came there is renovation working at here

Near the lolei is monastery for the monks we will see monks wearing their yellow robe in here

Location : hariharalaya,Near Siam Reap,Cambodia

Going Here : by Tuk tuk,motorcycle,rent car

Ticket : just show Angkor Ticket pass which you have bought at Ticket booth in front of Angkor Gate

Cambodia Trip : East Mebon Temple November 16,2013

We visited East Mebon Temple at 10.30 am this temple is made of red brick.king rajendravarman build this temple as the honour his ancestors.like other temples in Angkor area this is also hindu temple and dedicated to god shiva.
What make this temple is different from other temple are the big elephant and lion statues.the height of the elephant statues is the same as the height of adult.

Cambodia Trip : Bakong Temple November 17,2013

We visited bakong Temple early in the morning about 8.00 am after took photos of sunrise at Angkor Wat
Bakong is older than Angkor wat this is the first temple mountain made from sandstone.bakong became the state temple during king indravarman I.that time the capital of khmer kingdom is in hariharalaya (today that area is known as Rulous )
No wonder bakong and other temples in rulous area well known as rulous group
the history of bakong temple and hariharalaya capital began at 802 AD.when the first king of Angkor declared the sovereignty of Cambodia
he then built his capital known as hariharalaya his successor built bakong and made it as state temple
beside bakong is monastery for nun (female monks in Budhist)
bakong itself is Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva God

Cambodia Trip : Apsara Dance November 14,2013

On the second night at SiamReap Cambodia we have the chance to see apsara dance in Siam Reap some restaurant have the performance of Apsara Dance one of them which we choose is at Mondial Restaurant
Arriving at hotel after visited temples at Angkor area at 5.30 pm we took a bath and waiting Mr.Sam our driver and guide to pick us up
At 6.30 he arrived and we went to mondial restaurant Thanks to Mr.Sam who has booked the seat for us
From hotel to mondial restaurant only 10 minute
Arrived at there even the show not began yet many tourist has came
Beside see the performance the audience also had dinner we are free take anything we want
7.30 pm the show began and opened with the female dancer
At 8.30 the show finished for the closing all the dancer and some of the audience took photos
After saw the dance we took a tour at siam reap city before back to hotel and the next day we visited temples at Angkor area again

Fellow Friends in Feb and April 2014 we will have trip to Vietnam and east Indonesia Trip

This temple also buil by King jayavarman VII (1113-1150 M) and is located at Angkor area at east of the gate of Victory of Angkor thom and north of chau sa vay thevoda temple
Has been become UNESCO worl Heritage Site
King Jayavarman even a Budhist follower built this temple for Hindu religion this templ is dedicated for god Shiva and Vishnu
After we visited Thomamnon we visited Chau Sa Vay Thehova which only across This temple

Cambodia Trip: Bayon Temple Nov,14,2013

After we visited Angkor wat for about 3,5 hour we visited Bayon Temple.bayon temple has special part in Angkor kingdom history.this is the temple state for King Jayavarman VII.the king is well remembered of his people for his bravery and great military leadership and strategist.
When Angkor wat was taken over by Cham Armies at 1177 C and the king tribhunadityawarman was killed in battle which caused Angkor commanders and soldiers lost the battle and left the battlefield.many royal families run to other direction one of them is a prince name jayavarman
Prince Jayavarman could gathered the scattered forces and from his place in Preah Khan (other name Prasat Bakan in Kompong Svay today) he could organize again his army and waged a war against Cham Armies.and in 1181 C only 4 years after the Cham could defeted Angkor Kingdom the Chams were defeated by King Jayavarman VII with his armies at a place near Angkor wat (later in this place King Jayavarman VII built Preah Khan Temple to memorize his winning against Cham)
Bayon Temple is very great and amazing temple the face shape tower is the reason wahy so many tourist visited this temple
Some says the face in face shape tower actually is the face of Budha but others says that is the face of King Jayavarman VII himself

Cambodia trip : Angkor Wat Nov,14,2013

This is the most famous temple complex in Cambodia.people says “you not yet visit Cambodia before you visit Angkor wat “.
Tourist may not visit koh ker,beng maelea,sambor prei kuk,preah vihear and other tourist destination in Cambodia but they must be visit Angkor wat
Angkor wat is very big and large temple complex the building came from the first half of 12 century during the reign of king suryavarman II.
The temple is represent meru mountain the sacred mountain in Hindu religion.
Inside the temple visitor wil see beautiful relief on the wall it tell the story from mahabaratha and Ramayana like battle of kurusetra and battle of lanka we can see Hanoman,Rama,Rahwana,Princess Sita,Bima,Arjuna,and other figure in this wall.
Angkor wat always very crowded than any other temples even we have had come early in the morning other visitors has been at there
Sunrise and sunset from Angkor wat is very beautiful so come aely and take your spot.

Cambodia Trip November 13,2013 Banteay Chmar

We went to banteay chmar after we arrived at siam reap we left the city at 8 am and arrived at this temple at 12 am 
The road is bad if rain it will be very difficult to pass 
Banteay chmar is very close to Thailand border like preah vihear in the market people using USD,Riel and baht.
King Jayavarman VII built this complex of temple in same era when he built Angkor Thom 
The king built this end of 12 C and beginning of 13 C 
Like bayon this temple is Budhis
This temple has consumed by trees many big tress grow in temple structure 
Not many visitors come this place the location which isolated and far from the city are the main reason 
For travellers who don’t like crowded atmosphere in Angkor Wat Banteay Chmar can be good choice 
Before we left the temple we can see bass relief which tell us the battle and daily life at Khmer kingdom that era
